Intel i225-V «Foxville»
Intel is preparing a next-generation network controller called the i225-V "Foxville", which should be the first 2.5 Gbps controller for mainstream consumer products. Note that 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet has the same requirements for Cat5E and Cat6 network cables as 1 Gigabit Ethernet.
